From September 11, 2011 to January 22, an exhibition “Antonello da Messina, Titian, Veronese. Old Masters Paintings from the Collection of Brukenthal National Museum in Sibiu, Romania” will be held at the National Museum in Gdansk.

The exhibition will present Western European masterpieces from the collections of Brukenthal National Museum, and is devoted to Italian painting.

Works created from the late fifteenth to the late eighteenth century will be displayed at the Gdansk Museum.

However, the masterpieces from the late sixteenth to mid-eighteenth century painted in Venice and Rome will dominate the exhibition. Artists working in Naples and Milan will be represented to a lesser extent.
